The Hampton Roads Transportation Planning Organization has extended the public comment deadline for the two Transportation Improvement Plan amendments approved on December 13, 2018. With an estimated cost of $3.562 billion, the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel expansion encumbers a significant portion of anticipated Hampton Roads Transportation Fund revenues for the next twenty years.
